Australia has announced its 14-player team for the three one-day international (ODI) matches against Pakistan, which will take place in November 2024. Cricket Australia shared this news on October 14.

Captain Pat Cummins will return to lead the team after taking a break since Australia won the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India. However, key players Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh will not play in this series because they are on paternity leave. This gives young player Jake Fraser-McGurk a chance to open the batting in the ODIs.

Matt Short is also in the squad after doing well in the recent matches in the United Kingdom, where he showed his talent in white-ball cricket.

Experienced all-rounder Marcus Stoinis is coming back to the team. He takes the place of Cameron Green, who is out for the season due to a back injury. Green will need surgery and will be away from cricket for at least six months.
