51-year-old Langer hoped for a long-term contract with Australian cricket but the players were not comfortable with the techniques of Justin Langer and his rigidness. But the Australian cricket board wanted him only till the end of the 2022 t20 World cup going to be held in Australia. He further stated that no one tried to even back him up in the board meeting thinking what the critics and other board members will think of it. Langer in his resignation apologized and mentioned how much he values the principles of truth, honesty, and loyalty. Even if the Australian players achieve great height but at what cost?
