Ava Raine is not just a rising star in WWE but is also the daughter of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, one of the most famous people in wrestling and movies. Her mother, Dany Garcia, was married to The Rock from 1997 to 2008. Ava comes from the well-known Anoa’i wrestling family, and while she carries on the family legacy, she is focused on making her own mark in WWE.
Ava’s mother, Dany Garcia, shared her pride on Instagram. She said, “My daughter, like many Cuban women before her, shows strength and confidence. She’s made her own way, and now as the youngest General Manager in WWE NXT history, I couldn’t be prouder.” Garcia also pointed out that Ava’s journey is an inspiration to Gen Z Latinos, who are making a difference in their communities.
The Rock’s Thoughts on Being a Dad
In an interview last year, The Rock talked about his relationship with Ava Raine on The Pivot podcast. He shared that they have grown closer, especially now that Ava has followed in his footsteps to become a wrestler. “I had Ava when I was in my twenties. Back then, I was busy with wrestling and starting my movie career. I was always away, but as she started her wrestling career, we’ve become much closer.”
