As England won the first two ODI of the 3 match ODI series. Pakistan will be looking for a win to avoid a clean sweep by England. England captain Ben Stokes has won the toss and choose to field in the second match. Both teams went with an unchanged playing 11.

The Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman was dismissed early in the powerplay. Pakistan had poor powerplay as they managed to get only 35 runs and also lost a wicket. There was a good partnership building between Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam. The pair went on to put 92 runs on the board. The partnership was broken by Parkinson by Imam-ul-Haq for 56.

Another big partnership for the 3rd wicket was between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Babar Azam in the meantime scored a century. Rizwan was looking good for his half-century. The pair went on to put a record-breaking partnership of 179 runs. But England bowlers pulled it back by restricting Pakistan 331/9.

England didn’t get a good start to the chase, as the opener Dawid Malan was dismissed for a duck in the second over. But England Batsman Phil Salt and Zak Crawley played aggressively in the powerplay. England lost two wickets but managed to score 84 runs in the powerplay. Just when the chase was becoming easy for England. Haris Rauf dismissed Zak Crawley to give the momentum back to Pakistan.

Ben Stokes never looked in rhythm, it was just a matter of time he lost his wicket to Shadab Khan. John Simpson was also dismissed cheaply for 3 runs. Pakistan now is very well in the game. Then the crucial partnership between James Vince and Lewis Gregory was taking the momentum back from Pakistan. The pair went on to put 129 runs for the 6th wicket. James Vince scored a match-winning century for England. England chased the target with 3 wickets in hand and whitewashed Pakistan in 3 matches ODI series.
