Babar Azam thinks it’s critical for players to help one another out when things become rough. In order to demonstrate sympathy for his on-field competitor and wish him luck, he publicly tweeted the phrase “This too shall pass” for Virat Kohli on social media. Azam asserts that professional athletes have a common understanding and that it is essential for them to support one another when things get tough.
In July of last year, Babar tweeted as Kohli was going through a protracted stretch of subpar play. With only 16 runs lately scored and India facing a 100-run loss to England in an ODI, Kohli had not scored a century for his country since his 136 against Bangladesh in November 2019.

Between his previous century and that England ODI, Kohli had amassed 806 ODI runs at an average of 36.68 while only averaging 27.25 in Test cricket. When asked how he came to support Kohli, a cricket player for Pakistan’s rival India, Babar responded that a sportsperson has an obligation to stand by their teammates during difficult situations.
“Anyone who participates in athletics could experience such a period. I reasoned at the time that if I tweeted, it could inspire someone and offer assistance. You want to support every sportsman in a tough situation as a player, you see. You learn what you really think about other people through trying circumstances. At the time, I believed I ought to have done so since it might have a favourable outcome. something that could be positive “told ICC Digital, Babar.
After a period of struggle, Virat Kohli regained his form in white ball cricket with a remarkable performance. In September 2022, he scored an unbeaten 122 against Afghanistan, and since then, he has recorded three ODI hundreds. Additionally, in a memorable performance, he scored 82 not out at Melbourne, leading his team to a classic victory over Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
