Gerwyn Price beat Gary Anderson in the final of the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel, Germany.
Price came back from 2-1 down to Anderson before registering six straight legs on his way to an 8-3 victory.
This was a second successive win for the Welsh player after winning the previous weekend’s Poland Masters.
The 40-year-old has now won nine European Tour titles, joining Peter Wright in second spot on the all-time winners list.
“I think I played pretty well all weekend, so I’m really chuffed,” Price said.
“Gary wasn’t at his best in the final and obviously I can play better, but I’m just really pleased to get over the line and get another European Tour title under my belt.”
Price had survived a major scare in his last-16 tie as Wessel Nijman missed two match darts. He went past world number one Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey, dropping just three legs in each contest.
The player will next be seen at the Betfred World Matchplay, running from 19-27 July, a trophy 2021 world champion Price is yet to win.
“I’ve lost in the final before, so now I need to lift that trophy,” said Price, who was runner-up to Michael van Gerwen in 2022.
“I won in Poland, so to come here and win here definitely puts me in good stead ahead of the World Matchplay.
“I’m playing really well at the moment, but it’s all on the day. There are so many good players in the tournament, so anybody can win it.”
This was the ninth of 14 PDC European Tour events of 202. It featured 48 players competing at the Wunderino Arena from July 11-13.
The tournament saw the top 16 players from the main Order of Merit seeded in the draw and enter at the Second Round stage, while the 16 Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers entered in Round One.
