Bangladesh cricket is ultimately wiping away the ‘minnows’ label after a long and exhausting journey. They’ve been thrashed humiliatingly on numerous occasions. They have only won nine of the 100 Tests they have played. The ninth victory, however, was the most satisfying because it came against a formidable opponent in Sri Lanka on foreign soil. Even the strongest teams find it difficult to defeat the Lankans in their own backyard, and Bangladesh’s ability to defeat them in the lengthiest format demonstrates that they’re no longer easy prey for any team.
In this article, we will look at historical examples of Bangladeshi victories by wide margins.
