Bayern Munich has finally agreed a fee with Juventus to sign their centre-back Matthijs de Ligt on Sunday night. Bayern have reached full agreement with the Italian side for the defender. Matthijs de Ligt was one of Bayern’s priority signings as they were looking for a centre-back since January. Not only him but Matthijs also wanted Bayern as his priority move.
Julian Nagelsmann wanted the club to go for him (Matthijs de Ligt) this summer as they feel they can solve their defensive problems. On Sunday, Fabrizio Romano tweeted that Bayern will complete the deal with Juventus for the centre-half after €80 million package deal was accepted by the clubs.
The centre-back (Matthijs de Ligt) will stay at the club until 2027 as the five-year deal has been verbally agreed between the clubs. Matthijs de Ligt had a great time with the Italian giants. He won so many trophies at Juventus but he wanted some new challenge and felt Bayern could be the team he could move to. De Ligt is one of the top defenders in Europe and thus so many clubs were behind him this summer.
