In the final match of the (BBL) Big Bash League, Hobart Hurricanes crushed Sydney Thunders by 7 wickets on the strength of explosive batsman Mitchell Owen’s stormy century. With this victory, the Hurricanes team became the champion. Mitchell Owen completed his century in just 39 balls.

In the final match of the Big Bash League, the Hobart Hurricanes team defeated Sydney Thunders by 7 wickets and won the title. The hero of the Hurricanes’ victory was Mitchell Owen, who wreaked such havoc in the final match that the Sydney team was completely defeated. In the match, Owen played an explosive innings of 108 runs. In front of Owen’s innings, the target of 183 runs given by Sydney proved to be completely dwarfed and the Hurricanes easily won the final match.

In the final match, Mitchell Owen faced only 42 balls in his 108-run innings for Hobart Hurricanes. During this, he also hit 11 sixes and 6 fours. The special thing was that Owen completed his century in just 39 balls. The bowler of Sydney Thunders was stunned in front of his explosive batting. Chasing the target in the final, the Hurricanes team won the match by scoring 185 runs 35 balls in advance.

In the final match, the Hobart Hurricanes team won the toss and invited Sydney to bat first. Jason Sanga and captain David Warner made a brilliant start for Sydney and shared a 97-run partnership for the first wicket. Jason was out after scoring 67 runs while Warner contributed 48 runs. After the dismissal of these two, no other batsman for Sydney could stay on the crease for long, due to which the team could score only 182 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In response, Mitchell Owen, opening for Hobart Hurricanes, single-handedly thrashed the Sydney bowlers. Apart from Mitchell’s strong century, wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Wade confirmed Sydney’s defeat by playing a strong innings of 32 runs in 17 balls. Apart from Wade, Ben McDermott contributed 18 runs and Caleb Jewell 13 runs from Hobart’s side.
