BCCI Releases Central Contract List Of 16 Women Cricketers

On 24th March 2025, BCCI released a central contract list of their 16 women cricketers with Smriti Mandhana named as vice-captain and Harmanpreet Kaur named captain in the grade A list. This list is provided for the 2024-2025 season where this infamous personality like Harleen Deol is missing after a terrific WPL season.

Grade A Grade B Grade C
Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma Renuka Thakur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Shafali Verma Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundhati Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, Uma Chetry, Sneh Rana, Pooja Vastrakar

 

Grade A- The skipper Harmanpreet and vice-captain Smriti sustain their position in the list whereas Deepti Sharma finds a spot this year after her magnificent performances in T20 World Cup 2024 and Women’s Premier League.

Grade B- The inswing specialist Renuka Thakur continues with the B list, along with dependable Jemimah Rodriguez and hard hitter Richa Ghosh who played ecstatically well in WPL.

Shafali Verma finds the spot in the list as well even after being dropped from the white ball squad after some dismal performances in T20 World Cup 2024 UAE. Though she performed satisfactorily well in domestic and recent WPL season for Delhi Capitals.

Grade C- The young U-19 star Shreyanka Patil grabs the contract along with Titas Sadhu, and Amanjot Kaur. Rest Harleen Deol who played some great knocks on WPL got no place in the contract list along with young opener Pratika Rawal.

Salaries as per the contract

Grade A- 50 Lakh

Grade B- 30 Lakh

Grade C- 10 Lakh

BCCI will remunerate the same amount as male cricketers per matches to the female cricketers which is Rs 15 lakh per Test, Rs 6 Lakh per ODI and Rs 3 Lakh per T20.

Looking Ahead

India will tour England for five match T20 series and three match ODI series, T20 is set to begin from 28th June and Harmanpreet Kaur will lead team India on English soil.
