The BCCI Women’s Contracts List Of 2025-26 has been officially declared, which includes several major promotions, new inclusions, and a few shocking omissions.
The most striking feature of the latest contracts list is Jemimah Rodrigues, who has been promoted to Grade A in recognition of her match-winning acts in India’s historic World Cup triumph last year.
Jemimah Rodrigues Earns Top-Tier Promotion
Jemimah Rodrigues’ promotion to the top-grade Grade A position on the BCCI Women’s contracts list for 2025-26 follows the astonishing revival of form for the star cricketer.
Her outstanding innings came during the semifinal century against the Aussies, which contributed greatly to the team’s victory and winning of their first-ever Women’s World Cup title in November. Rodrigues joins the select group of experienced cricketers playing in Grade A.

This system continues to reward performance and consistency across formats in the BCCI Women’s contracts list of 2025-26.

Sneh Rana’s Comeback in team
Sneh Rana, an all-rounder, has also been promoted to Grade B after her sensational return to international cricket in 2025. She achieved 15 wickets in the Sri Lanka tournament, earning her the Player of the Tournament title, thereby placing her name in the BCCI Women’s contracts list of 2025-26. At the same time, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, and Renuka Singh retained their positions in the middle tier.
Grade C Filled With Fresh Faces
With the exception of Yastika Bhatia, who is recovering from a knee injury, Grade C consists entirely of new inclusions.
Notable Grade C Players

Harleen Deol
Kashvee Gautam
G Kamalini
Vaishnavi Sharma
Tejal Hasabnis
Charani finished as the second highest wicket-taker for India at the World Cup, while Harleen played seven matches in the tournament.
Inclusion of Debutants and Recent Performers
Vaishnavi Sharma and G Kamalini, who made their international debuts in the recent home-based T20I series against Sri Lanka in December, have both been rewarded with contracts. Kashvee Gautam and Tejal Hasabnis, last involved in ODIs in January 2025, have also been included in the list.
Patil and Vastrakar Miss Out
The other big exclusions from the BCCI Women’s contracts list of 2025-26 are all-rounders Shreyanka Patil and Pooja Vastrakar. While both of them formed a part of Grade C in the previous cycle, most of the year was spent on the sidelines with varying injuries for the two players.
