The fourth season of the Bhartiya Corporate Premier League (BCPL Season 4) was formally announced at a star-studded event of the trophy and jersey unveiling, which took place at a convention center in the capital city New Delhi on February 08, 2026.
The event was attended by none other than the former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly and the hero of India’s 2011 World Cup triumph, Zaheer Khan, who were both appointed as the Brand Ambassadors of the world’s largest corporate cricket league.
This will mark a major milestone for BCPL as Season 4 will be conducted for the first time with international teams participating, with ten teams competing to attain top honors.

In his address to the gathering, Sourav Ganguly emphasized the relevance of corporate cricket in building up professional careers.
“When I met Saurabh Jha, I shared how many of us began our journey through corporate cricket. There was no IPL in those days. I worked with Tata Steel and played corporate tournaments, which gave me exposure and recognition. BCPL Season 4 will create similar opportunities and open doors for talented corporate professionals to pursue their cricketing dreams.”
He also emphasized that cricket’s entrenched popularity in India guarantees that genuine talent will not go unseen should it be given a suitable platform.

Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan, a former cricketer, supported Ganguly’s statement, dwelling on its contribution to finding fresh cricketing talent.

He shall assume the role of Advisor to the Technical Committee apart from his role as Brand Ambassador This season shall also experience pan-India representation, going beyond the league’s existing scope of concentrating in the Delhi NCR region.
