Afghanistan joined the ICC in 2001 as an affiliate member, in 2013 as an associate member, and in 2017 they were granted test status. They have experienced some fantastic experiences on the world stage over this period, including defeating the eventual world champions, West Indies, at the 2016 World T20. Since batting has never been their strong suit, we shall focus on the top Afghan bowlers in this essay.

Mujeeb-ur-Rahman

With a bowling average of 16.62, he ranks third among Afghanistan’s bowlers. His strike rate is 16.3, and his bowling economy is 6.1.
