Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has grown into one of the toughest esports titles in the country. Every year, many teams fight in official and third party events, which makes player movement a serious topic. To keep things clean and fair, Krafton India introduced an official BGMI transfer window in October 2025.

This system was made to bring clear rules, reduce confusion, and protect teams from sudden roster drama. With the first transfer cycle now complete, all squads are locked in for the start of the 2026 season.

What Is the BGMI Transfer Window

The BGMI transfer window runs twice every year. During this period, teams can sign new players, release old ones, or fully rebuild their lineup. Once the window closes, teams must keep the same roster for the next six months in official tournaments.

The transfer system works in two phases. The first phase runs from October to April, while the second phase runs from April to September. After a player is officially registered, they cannot change teams for at least six months.

Only teams approved and verified by Krafton India Esports can take part. Team owners or IGLs manage the process through the KIE dashboard, where player changes are submitted and reviewed before final approval.

Confirmed BGMI Roster Changes for 2026

The 2026 season has already seen major reshuffles. Several known players changed teams, while some big organisations decided to rebuild from scratch. Meta Ninza, Rising Esports, Zutsu Esports, Revenant X Spark, GodLike, and 8-bit were among the most active teams.

Meta Ninza made one of the biggest moves by bringing in Sadow7 as their IGL along with Rony, Apollo, and Fierce. Rising Esports signed multiple players from Team Tamilas to form a fresh core.

Zutsu Esports rebuilt with Ash as IGL alongside Veyron and Flawk. Revenant X Spark also saw key changes, welcoming Punk as IGL while moving several players to other teams. GodLike placed their trust in new leadership with Manya and added Spower to strengthen firepower.

8-bit also refreshed their squad by signing Juicy, Skipz, and Sarang, signaling a serious push for upcoming events.
