KRAFTON India has rolled out the BGMI 4.1 Update, closing the year with one of its most exciting patches yet. The update blends global gameplay features with new India-exclusive content, making it a strong seasonal release for players. Along with the winter-themed Frosty Funland and the return of Metro Royale, the highlight of the update is Anamika, a horror character inspired by Indian folklore.

Here’s a full look at what Anamika brings to BGMI.

Who Is Anamika in BGMI?

Anamika, known as The Haunted Indian Bride, is a new NPC enemy added across multiple locations in Erangel. Her design follows classic Indian ghost myths, but her gameplay impact is fresh and unpredictable.

When players encounter Anamika, they can shoot her to earn loot, unlock horror-themed skins, and gain exclusive upgradeable weapons. She also drops special rewards linked to some of India’s most popular gaming creators through voice packs and cosmetics.

KRAFTON has introduced Anamika as a way to add regional flavor to BGMI, creating a unique experiential event that feels different from anything previously seen in the game.

Anamika Spawn Timings and Locations

Anamika appears under the following schedule:

  • In the HUB: Available from 9 PM to midnight
  • In Erangel: Available all day

Players can interact with Anamika repeatedly, with a cooldown of one hour before they can collect rewards again.

Boss Encounters Triggered by Anamika

Anamika can summon bosses when attacked. Players may receive a boss token, which can be exchanged in the Play & Win shop.

These summoned bosses have unique abilities:

  • Brass Rush:
A charge attack that targets players within 5–40 meters, causing knock-back and heavy damage.
  • Teleport:
The boss disappears and reappears when players try to create too much distance.
  • Brass Claw:
If a player is too close (within 5 meters), a blood-like claw drags them, causes continuous damage, and smashes them into the ground.

This creates dynamic horror-survival moments that force players to stay alert even during looting.

More New Content in the BGMI 4.1 Update

Alongside Anamika, the update brings several new additions that set the tone for the winter season.

Frosty Funland

A winter-style makeover for Erangel featuring:
