Krafton India has officially announced the BGMI Esports 2026 roadmap, bringing a full year of competition, excitement, and new opportunities for players. The season will run from January to October 2026, featuring four major tournaments along with multiple third-party events supported by Krafton. The goal is simple give both new and pro players a consistent esports platform from open qualifiers to international LAN stages.

January – BGIS 2026

The year kicks off with BGIS 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Series), an open-for-all tournament that gives every team in India a chance to compete.
Players from across the country can register, qualify through in-game rounds and regional stages, and fight their way to the grand LAN finals. BGIS remains the perfect launchpad for rising teams aiming to enter the professional esports circuit.

April – Third-Party Tournaments

April will feature the first set of officially supported third-party tournaments.
These events, hosted by popular partners like Nodwin Gaming and Skyesports, will offer an equal chance for underdog teams to prove themselves on a big stage. Krafton’s support ensures fair play, proper structure, and smooth execution, helping community events grow stronger than ever.

May – BMPS 2026

The next major stop is BMPS 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series) in May.
This professional-level competition will feature the best teams from BGIS and previous seasons, fighting for glory and a massive prize pool expected to exceed ₹2 crore. BMPS has always been a key event in India’s esports calendar, with top-performing teams earning chances to qualify for international tournaments like PMGC 2026.

June to August – Community Events Continue

Between June and August, Krafton will keep the esports energy alive through more third-party and community tournaments.
Expect online leagues, college events, and local cups designed to keep the esports scene active and open for everyone. This phase focuses on creating continuous opportunities for emerging talent to gain experience and recognition.

September – BMSD 2026

September brings back the thrilling BMSD 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown).
This LAN event will host 48 top Indian teams battling for the national title and PMGC slots. With a prize pool close to ₹1 crore and top-tier production, fans can expect some of the most intense matches of the year.

October – BMIC 2026

The grand finale of the year will be the BMIC 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Championship) in October.
This event will be India’s international LAN tournament, where top Indian teams face global powerhouses from South Korea, Japan, and beyond. Winners will directly qualify for PMGC 2026, marking the ultimate finish to an action-packed season.
