BGMI players in India have started talking again about a lighter version of the game. Krafton has released a new feedback survey, and many of the questions point toward the idea of BGMI Lite. While nothing has been officially announced, the focus of the survey has caught the attention of the gaming community.

The survey asks about game performance on low-end phones, how players feel about ads, and what kind of changes they would like to see in faster and simpler game modes. This has made many players believe that Krafton is testing the waters for a version of BGMI that can run smoothly on budget devices.

Why BGMI Lite Feels Like the Right Move

The demand for BGMI Lite has been strong for a long time. After PUBG Mobile Lite stopped working worldwide, many Indian players using older or low-cost smartphones were left without a smooth option to enjoy battle royale games.

The full version of BGMI offers rich features and detailed graphics, but it often causes lag, heating, and slow loading on low-spec phones. A lighter version could solve these problems and bring back players who stopped playing because of performance issues.

The survey also includes direct questions about whether players would like a BGMI Lite version. It asks where ads would be acceptable, such as after a match ends, during matchmaking on Spawn Island, or in return for small rewards like coupon crates.

Krafton is also looking at possible gameplay changes. These include smaller maps with around 20 players, quicker match formats, simple protection tools, and easier controls for fast and fun games.

What This Could Mean for Players

From a business point of view, BGMI Lite could help Krafton reach more users in India. Many players still use entry-level phones, and a lighter game could keep them active in the BGMI community.

If it ever launches, BGMI Lite would likely run alongside the main game instead of replacing it. This would give players a choice based on their device and play style.

For now, BGMI Lite is still just a possibility. But the survey clearly shows that Krafton is listening to its players and exploring new ways to grow the game in India.
