The BGMI Showdown 2025 (BMSD) Lower Bracket Day 1 is finally here, bringing another round of thrilling battles. A total of 24 teams, divided into 3 groups, will play six matches across Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. The action will begin at 3:30 PM IST, and fans can catch every moment live on the official Krafton India Esports YouTube channel.

On the opening day, Group B will play all six matches, giving fans an exciting start to the Lower Bracket stage.

Format of the Lower Bracket

The Lower Bracket matches will run from 18 to 21 September.

  • 24 teams are split into 3 groups of 8 teams each.
  • Matches will follow a round-robin format.
  • At the end of the stage, the top 12 teams will advance to the quarter-finals.
  • The other 12 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

This makes every match extremely important, as only half of the teams will survive this round.
