Bharat Arun, born on December 14, 1962, played for India in the Test cricket squad and now coaches the Indian national team’s bowlers. Bearded Arun could pitch at a medium pace and bat in the lower order with aggression. His international career didn’t last long, and he only appeared in a total of six matches for India. He was a member of the Indian under-19 squad that toured Sri Lanka in 1979, led by Ravi Shastri. However, he kept playing cricket for Tamil Nadu till 1992. - He was slipping on the delivery point as he ran in to bowl his first Test ball in 1986 against Sri Lanka in Kanpur. Years later, as Shane Watson was preparing to bowl his first test ball, the same thing occurred to him. Arun played in just two tests and four one-day internationals for his country.
- Arun played Lancashire League for Accrington. He played David Lloyd. They scored 83 runs against Rishton. Arun scored 72 at No. 4 and Lloyd 51 not out at No. 6.
- In the 2012 ICC under-19 World Cup, Arun led Unmukt Chand and his team to victory. During the 2014 competition, he coached the team. In 2014, he was appointed India’s bowling coach for the England tour.
