‘Bhavina Patel shines bright , brings home silver in a tough fight’

Indian Paralympic ace Bhavina Patel gave the country another reason to celebrate as she bagged a silver medal in the finals of Paralympics in Table Tennis. After being asked by many journalists about her journey, she has given the credits of her success to immense hard work and dedication. Bhavina Patel has had a very rough start to her career as her life was filled with difficulties in the initial stages.

It was a very tough game filled with a lot of thrills and suspense as Bhavana went face to face with the World’s number 1 Ying Zhou from China. In the final three sets of matches were to be played which Ying Zhou won every single one of them. The scoreline was 7-11, 5-11, and 6-11. Bhavana even after putting up a very hard fight had to settle for the silver as the world’s no.1 was always a step ahead of the Indian ace.

This medal came as a medal of glory for the Indian contingent, as on the National Sports Day Bhavina played exceptionally and won silverware for the country. This couldn’t have been a better day to win glory as Bhavana won it on the day where every athlete pays homage and respect to the sport he/she plays.

Well-known personalities from the nation including the likes of our honorable Prime Minister and his fellow politicians, fellow sportsperson’s and celebrities from the Bollywood industry even congratulated Bhavana for the same.
