Since the inaugural season, the Big Bash tournament has managed to put before the world extraordinary batsmen. There have been exceptional records registered by the batting unit of different teams. However, hitting fours have been considered as something, which each batsman attempts to register in any T20 cricket matches. And, the T20 format is said to demand maximum scores by each batsman.

• D’Arcy Short: D’Arcy Short has been a part of the tournament since 2016 and has successfully managed to hit two centuries and 20 half-centuries, alongside 90 sixes and 244 boundaries. According to reports, Short has played 72 matches and registered 2553 runs to his name at an average and strike rate of 39.89 and 133.66, respectively.
• Aaron Finch: The Australian white-ball captain, Aaron Finch is widely considered to score the highest fours in BBL. Finch is considered to have participated in 87 games and scored 2817 runs at an average of 34.77 at 134.01. He has hit two centuries and 22 fifties, along with 104 sixes and 247 boundaries. However, the player has successfully represented Melbourne Renegades in the tournament and is also considered as the second highest run-scorer in the competition.

However, the above list includes players who have been a part of the tournament since its inception, as well as others who have joined afterwards. Also, some of them have played for two or more teams, while some have been a part of the same team, since their Big Bash League debut.
