Billie Jean King Cup 2025 Qualifiers: Top Stars In Contention

The Billie Jean King Cup 2025 qualifiers are set to get rolling with the qualifiers that will be held across six cities in three continents. The ties will get underway from April 10 to 13. 

The tournament will culminate with the Finals in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China. Nations that will qualify for the finals will be determined from a round-robin group of two ties, consisting of two singles rubbers and a doubles match.

Four of the six groups will be played out on hard courts, with the exceptions being Group E in Poland and Group F in the Netherlands. 

Eight countries will earn a spot for the ultimate competition at the year-ender. The teams are split into six groups of three, where the group winners will qualify for the finals alongside hosts China and reigning champions Italy.

New world number three Jessica Pegula, who is fresh from winning the Charleston Open,  teams up with Danielle Collins for the USA who are the 18-time record-winning nation. 

Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina will enter the tournament as the world no. 9 to guide her nation to their first finals appearance in three years.

Belinda Bencic, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion, will lead the charge for Switzerland while Ukraine’s powerhouse duo of Elina Svitolina (World no. 18) and Marta Kostyuk (#25) will pose the challenge. 

Katie Boulter, the British no. 1 will be looking to get Great Britain across the finishing line and the onus will be on her as Emma Raducanu decided to pull out of the Billie Jean King Cup 2025 qualifiers.
