The much-awaited Battlegrounds Mobile Showdown Series (BMSD) 2025 Grand Finals kicked off on October 10, 2025, bringing together the top 16 BGMI teams from across India. Organized by Krafton India Esports, this event is one of the biggest tournaments of the Fall 2025 season, offering a direct slot to the winner in the PMGC 2025.

The first day featured six intense matches played across the popular maps Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. Each match brought its own surprises, smart rotations, and fierce gunfights. By the end of Day 1, Team Orangutan stood tall at the top of the leaderboard, proving once again why they’re among the most consistent teams in the Indian esports scene.

A Battle Among the Best

The Grand Finals lineup is filled with top-tier teams including Hero Xtreme Godlike, iQOO Soul, Team Orangutan, and many other skilled squads who have shown remarkable consistency throughout the tournament. These 16 teams are not only fighting for the BMSD title but also for a spot in the Korea-Japan-India Invitational, where the top 8 teams will advance.

Match Highlights of Day 1

The opening match set the tone for the day, as K9 Esports grabbed the first Winner Winner Chicken Dinner with an impressive 13 finishes. But the spotlight soon shifted to Team Orangutan, who displayed sheer dominance by winning back-to-back matches on Erangel with 13 and 10 finishes respectively. Their coordination and aggressive approach kept fans hooked throughout the day.

Team Infinix True Rippers made a strong statement in the fourth match by taking control of Sanhok with 12 finishes. In the fifth game, Team Soul delivered a powerful performance and claimed victory with 9 finishes. The day concluded on a high note as Team M4 Esports secured the last match at Miramar with a 23-point performance, proving how unpredictable and competitive this season truly is.
