“I’m doing it all,” Bobby Lashley stated on The Bo and Them Show in Dallas. “First of all, YOLO, you only live once. I still have a lot of gas left in the tank. I’m in great shape, I feel good, I’m motivated, and I’m rested. I’m ready for whatever comes next.”

Bobby Lashley: A Wrestling Icon and Beyond

Bobby Lashley’s wrestling career took off when he first joined WWE in 2005, quickly becoming a fan favorite due to his powerful build and impressive in-ring skills. After leaving WWE in 2008, he didn’t step away from wrestling; instead, he took his talents to various promotions, solidifying his reputation as a formidable competitor. His career took a different turn when he decided to enter the world of mixed martial arts (MMA).
With a background in amateur wrestling, highlighted by three NAIA national championships, Bobby Lashley transitioned seamlessly into MMA. He started his MMA career with an undefeated 5-0 record, showcasing his grappling skills and power. His success caught the attention of Strikeforce, one of the top MMA promotions at the time. Lashley won his Strikeforce debut against UFC veteran Wes Sims, proving his potential as a serious MMA fighter. However, he faced a setback in his next fight, losing to Chad Griggs, another UFC veteran. Despite the loss, Lashley continued to build his MMA career, later signing with Bellator in 2014. In Bellator, he once again showed his prowess, compiling a perfect 5-0 record over five fights.
In 2018 Bobby Lashley returned to WWE, putting his MMA career on hold. During this time, he achieved significant success, capturing multiple titles, including the WWE Championship. Now, with his WWE tenure possibly behind him, Lashley seems eager to return to the combat sports world, but this time, he might try his hand at boxing.
