Indian pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened up about a new challenge that he will be facing in the ongoing 5-match T20I series against South Africa. Bhuvneshwar Kumar in a pre-match press conference mentioned a South African player name who he doesn’t want to see in the second T20I between India and South Africa.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar talked about Gujarat Titans batter David Miller who is in exceptional form. He played very well in the IPL 2022 and also win so many matches for Hardik Pandya’s team. He was then selected for the India tour to play the 5-match T20I series.
In the first T20I, He took away the game from India as he scored 64* runs in just 31 balls. He along with Rassie van der Dussen win the game for South Africa and make them lead the series by 1-0. Seeing his form, Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar didn’t want to see him in the next T20Is as he believes “Killer Miller” is in the brightest run of form.
“It is difficult bowling to David Miller. He is in such good form. I would want South Africa to drop him but they would not do so. He batted so well in the IPL; we know his calibre. Bowling to him would be a challenge,” said Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the pre-match press conference as reported by India Today.
