The BWF Hong Kong Open 2025 will take place at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hong Kong from 9 to 14 September 2025. This is the 35th edition of the tournament.
This will be the 21st tournament of the 2025 BWF World Tour and also part of the Hong Kong Open championships. This tournament is organized by Hong Kong Badminton Association and sanctioned by the BWF.
The Hong Kong Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Hong Kong since 1982, but it did not take place annually. It is organized by Hong Kong Badminton Association, and it became one of the Super Series tournaments in 2007.
BWF categorised Hong Kong Open as one of the seven BWF World Tour Super 500 events in the BWF events structure since 2018.
