ICC ODI Rankings: Australia may have lost their home ODI series against South Africa, but stars Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Cameron Green have grabbed the spotlight with their jaw-dropping performances in the final game. Their efforts have now been rewarded in the latest ICC ODI Rankings.
The third and final ODI in Mackay turned into a run-fest as Australia piled up a mammoth 431/2, courtesy of centuries from Head, Marsh, and Green. That power-packed display helped Australia crush South Africa by 276 runs, avoiding a series whitewash in style.

Elsewhere, West Indies’ Gudakesh Motie slipped slightly, moving from 10th to 11th. India’s pace duo Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj both nudged up a place, sitting in 12th and 13th respectively. Bangladesh’s Taskin Ahmed and England’s Jofra Archer also made gains, climbing to 24th and 25th.
Omarzai Still the Top All-Rounder
In the all-rounders’ chart, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai continues to reign supreme at number one, with no changes in the top 10.
New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra edged up from 13th to 12th, while Australia’s Sean Abbott climbed to 37th.
Cameron Green also had another reason to smile, leaping 19 places to reach 69th among all-rounders.
This week’s update has seen plenty of movement, but one thing is clear: Australia’s stars, especially Head, Marsh, and Green, have made a strong statement with both their bats and their ICC ODI rankings.
