The Reds take on Tottenham in one of the two-legged semifinals trailing 1-0 on aggregate, while Arsenal trail Newcastle United 2-0 in the other semifinal.
Newcastle are the only team remaining in the competition who have never won the Cup before, having lost the final twice, in 1976 and 2023. Arsenal last won in 1993, while Tottenham’s fourth and most recent trophy was in 2008.
There is a possibility for a North London derby in the final this year, which has never happened in the history of the famous rivalry in either English domestic Cup competitions.
Carabao Cup 2025 Final: Prize money
According to reports, the winners will receive £100,000, while the runners-up will be rewarded £50,000. Each semi-finalist, meanwhile, will take home £25,000.
All of those clubs will also receive 45% of match proceeds.
