English Premier League side are still searching for the players in the last days of the summer transfer window. Chelsea FC have finally reached an agreement with another Premier League side Leicester City for the transfer of centre-back Wesley Fofana. The blues were trying hard to bring him this summer but Leicester wanted him to stay.

The centre-back accepted that Chelsea wants him and was ready to move to the club. Wesley already had an agreement with Thomas Tuchel’s side over personal terms. The only thing remaining was the bid to be accepted by Leicester City. A last improved bid was made to Leicester on Friday night, 26th August by Chelsea which was accepted by the club (as per Fabrizio Romano).

Chelsea now have two new centre-backs in their team namely Kalidou Koulibaly who they signed from the Serie A side Napoli and another one is Wesley Fofana. Wesley will also be playing in UEFA Champions League for the first time. Thomas Tuchel wanted the defender and got him. It will be interesting to see when the defender makes his debut once the deal is announced by the club (Chelsea FC).
