Manchester United have made the second signing of the summer after having some dry days at the start of the transfer window. After Dutch left-back Tyrell Malacia, Manchester United now have agreed a deal to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer this summer. The Danish midfielder had a choice this summer between Manchester United or stay at Brentford as he was a free agent.
Eriksen chosed ‘Red Devils’ over Brentford and will sign a three-year deal with the club in the coming days (as per Fabrizio Romano’s latest tweet). A journalist named David Ornstein broke out this news before Fabrizio that Eriksen has made a choice of leaving Brentford and moving to Old Trafford this summer.
In both the deals, Man United did this summer so far were because of their new manager named Erik ten Hag. The Dutch manager was a key factor according to Fabrizio Romano in both these deals. Erik wanted Eriksen in his team as he feels the Danish player has a very high potential.
“Christian Eriksen will sign three year deal with Manchester United this week, medical already scheduled. Eriksen has already direct talk with Erik ten Hag, key factor,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Monday, 4th July.
