The Cincinnati Open 2025 will be played on outdoor hardcourts from 7 to 18 August 2025. It is classified as a Masters 1000 tournament on the 2025 ATP Tour and a WTA 1000 tournament on the 2025 WTA Tour. The tournament will be the 124th men’s edition and the 97th women’s edition of the Cincinnati Open.
The actions will take place at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, a northern suburb of Cincinnati, in the United States.
The 2025 edition of Cincinnati Open is set to be different as it will feature an expanded format. The singles draws for both events were increased from 56 to 96 players this year.
Here is a guide to the schedule of Cincinnati Open 2025:
- Qualifying rounds will be played on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6, featuring 48 players in both men’s and women’s fields. Twelve men and women will advance to the main draw.
- Main draw play will begin Thursday, August 7. There will be 32 seeded players in the men’s and women’s draws, each with a first-round bye. The top-ranked players in the tournament will take to the courts during the first weekend of play, August 9 and 10, during the second round.
- Men’s and women’s quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. The men’s quarterfinals will be spread acrossboth days while the women play all matches on August 15.
- The final days of the tournament will feature the men’s semifinal matches on Saturday, August 16, and the women’s semifinals on Sunday, August 17. Both singles championship matches will be played on Monday, August 18.
- In the doubles events, women’s doubles will begin Thursday, August 7, and men’s doubles on Monday, August 11. Both doubles finals will be played on Sunday, August 17.
