COEP Tech is glad to announce the launch of its 21st Annual Sports Festival – Zest 2023.
ZEST is one of the leading sports events that everyone looks forward to. With a grand total of 20 years, ZEST has conquered both the hearts of people and its creators. It is always surrounded by huge amount of anticipation and promotes the ideology of persistence and hard work among individuals. The team, players and organisers are already brimming with energy, excitement and fun.
ZEST has expanded swiftly over the course of 20 wonderful editions of the event and is currently regarded as the fifth-largest sports festival in the nation. More than 20,000 people visit our grounds each year and over 4,000 people participate in it. Over 150 colleges across the nation tend to send their participants to the festival.
Our last edition – ZEST’ 22, was proud of having esteemed guests such as Shireen Limaye to grace the inaugural ceremony. Personalities like Aslam Inamdar, Yogesh Nikam and Mohit Goyat further graced the event with their presence for the valedictory ceremony. They exhorted our country’s youth to pursue sports as a viable vocation and let no obstacle stand in the way.
The contemporary season of 𝗖𝗢𝗘𝗣 𝗭𝗘𝗦𝗧 2023 comes to you with a fresh vision and higher excitement. We return to you with a New Josh that is unprecedented and unmatched.
ZEST’ 23 stands up proudly to present the theme ‘𝖀𝖓𝖑𝖊𝖆𝖘𝖍 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕴𝖓𝖋𝖎𝖓𝖎𝖙𝖞‘ of the 21st edition to our participants and viewers.
Marathon and Cyclothon – COEP ZEST’s two flagship events this year, were incredibly successful. In these offline events, where participation was high, we saw a lot of energy. Both events were organised with a social cause as the themes – ‘𝑪𝒚𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒏 – 𝑮𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒐 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏‘ and ‘𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 – 𝘼 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼 𝙎𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚‘. Right from children of 8 years of age to oldies of 65 years of age, all took to the streets in jillion.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 L𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 L𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻:
As the main event approaches, the ambience is unreal, and the enthusiasm is tough to restrain. The excitement for the spectacle is palpable throughout the entire campus. This year’s sports festival, which promises to be exciting and fun, will be held from 11th -13th February 2023.
So, brace yourself for a memorable time at COEP Tech with ZEST’23.
