Irfan Pathan, a native of Baroda, Gujarat, was regarded as India’s best all-rounder after Kapil Dev in his early years of international cricket. Irfan swung the ball both ways, modelling his style after Pakistan’s swing master Wasim Akram, and at his best, he caused trouble for almost all of the batsmen. Irfan played a crucial role in India’s win in the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa. He was also named Man of the Match in the finals against Pakistan.

Irfan has the position of Director at CAP. Irfan contributes his talent and knowledge to CAP. His mentoring is undoubtedly advantageous to many CAP students.

Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan established a reputation as one of the fiercest strikers in both domestic and international cricket. Yusuf is a classic lower middle-order batsman who has the remarkable ability to clear the ropes and give the innings a powerful push in the slog overs. Yusuf Pathan, Irfan’s older brother, made his international debut after Irfan. Yusuf made his debut in the finals against Pakistan in T20 World Cup in 2007. He was even part of the squad that won the 2011 ODI World Cup in India.

Yusuf also holds the position of Director at CAP. Yusuf is the best tutor and advisor for all aspiring cricket players and brings with him priceless expertise. He is a three-time IPL champion, holds the record for the fastest IPL century by an Indian, and won 16 Man of the Match IPL awards.

Harmeet Vasdev

Harmeet Vasdev has over 16 years of expertise in sports management and is the managing director of CAP. He serves as a managing partner of Shadow Sports, one of India’s top sports management firms. He has cultivated tight relationships with numerous International Cricket Boards and other key players in the Indian and international cricket industries. The notion of CAP was conceptualised and put into action in large part thanks to Harmeet.

Technology at CAP

PitchVision

All of the CAP locations are powered by PitchVision, a cutting-edge cricket teaching technology with a UK base. Line, length, bounce, deviation, and tempo are all recorded for use in movies and statistical tables that all stakeholders may quickly access for the purpose of studying and analysing techniques, body posture, and speed. The Pathan brothers and the cricket instructors can track the growth of the students thanks to this technology, which also serves as a channel of communication with the parents of the wards via a mobile phone app.

StanceBeam

This cutting-edge technological resource is available to all CAP students and enables them to work in real-time collaboration with the coaches. The programme records practice sessions, captures instructional films, logs swing metrics for students, and is accessible to coaches so they may offer immediate course correction. Students’ performance is aided by the “StanceBeam Striker” smart cricket bat sensor, which provides pertinent metrics and insights.

CAP Mobile App

The managers and coaches can stay informed about everyday operations with the aid of this internal app. All interested parties can quickly generate and access information on attendance, payment history, performance evaluations, notifications, and feedback. Virtual sessions are now being held to guarantee continuous progress throughout the pandemic as well.
