Manchester United has announced the squad who all will be going to Thailand for the pre-season tour. Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo will miss this pre-season tour of Manchester United. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t yet featured in Manchester United’s training which started two weeks ago.
Ronaldo and other players who played in the UEFA Nations League were due to be present on Monday, 4th July. But, except for all the other players, Ronaldo didn’t show up in training as he had some personal/family issue for which he asked for some time from the club (as per reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano). Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is still unclear and the reports suggest that the 38-year-old doesn’t want to stay at the club this summer because of the club’s lack of transfer activity in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United have just signed a single player so far and is in talks to land Barcelona’s midfielder Frenkie de Jong since the start of the window. Manchester United’s striker Cristiano Ronaldo was the top scorer for the club last season. The 38-year-old Portuguese wants to play Champions League and United won’t be playing in the league because they finished in 6th position last season.
