Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing to lift his first official trophy with Al Nassr when they lock horns with Al Ahli in the Saudi Super Cup 2025 final at the Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday.

Since joining Al Nassr in 2023, Ronaldo has continued to score in a prolific manner but has never won an official title with the club.

The Portuguese striker did lift the Arab Club Champions Cup with Al Nassr in 2023, but it was an unofficial tournament hosted by an unrecognised body.

On Saturday, the football star will be looking to fill another trophy in his cabinet.

There is another milestone that Ronaldo will be looking to achieve. The 40-year-old is just one goal away from scoring 100 goals for Al Nassr. Fans would be eager to watch his century of goals.

Since debuting for Al Nassr in 2023, Ronaldo has faced Al Ahli four times winning 3 matches & drawing once. He’s never lost to the Jeddah club Al Ahli while scoring three goals in those encounters.

Ronaldo played a pivotal role in the Riyadh club reaching the final as he laid down the assist for Joao Felix’s winning goal against Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad in the semi-finals.

Al Nassr won the match 2-1 against their arch rivals despite playing the major part of it with 10 men after Senegalese superstar Sadio Mane was sent off 25 minutes into the contest having scored the opening goal 15 minutes earlier.

Mane will be missing in the final as well.

Al Ahli are the AFC Champions League holders and are captained by former Manchester City ace Riyad Mahrez.
