Daryl Mitchell Acknowledges Indian Bowlers’ Impact on NZ’s ODI WC Performance

New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell praised India’s spirited performance during the last ten overs in their Men’s ODI World Cup encounter at the HPCA Stadium. India chased down the target with two overs to spare, maintaining their unbeaten run in the tournament.

Mitchell recognized India’s world-class death-bowling unit, led by Shami, Bumrah, and Siraj, for holding back New Zealand during the middle 40 overs. He acknowledged the importance of early wickets and their efforts to apply pressure.

Mitchell, who delivered a remarkable batting display, scored 130 off 127 balls, including nine fours and five sixes. His 159-run partnership with Rachin Ravindra propelled New Zealand to 178/2 in 34 overs before they stumbled to 273 all out.
