Australian cricketer David Warner is making his acting debut in the Telugu film Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula. He will appear in a cameo role in this action-packed movie, which has excited many of his fans. The news was announced by one of the film’s producers, Y Ravi Shankar, during a promotional event for the film Kingston.
David Warner Is All Set To Make His Debut In Tollywood
Y Ravi Shankar confirmed that David Warner’s cameo will bring a unique touch to Robinhood. The producer shared his excitement about introducing the cricketer to Indian cinema, saying, “We are thrilled to have launched David Warner in Indian cinema with ‘Robinhood’.” He also apologized to director Venky Kudumula for revealing the cameo before the official announcement.
Robinhood stars popular Telugu actor Nithiin in the lead role. He plays a character named Honey Singh, a thief who steals from the rich to help the poor. The story follows Honey as he carries out robberies for no personal gain, only driven by courage and fearlessness. He is ready to face anyone to fight for what is right.
Delayed Release and Team Effort
Robinhood, originally set to release last year, has now been delayed to March 28 this year. The film has created a lot of excitement, especially with cricketer David Warner’s involvement. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, it also stars Sree Leela alongside Nithiin.
The music for Robinhood is composed by National Award-winning music director G V Prakash Kumar, while Sai Sriram is handling cinematography. Raam Kumar takes care of art direction, and the film’s editing is done by Koti.
The film’s production team includes Cherry as the CEO and Hari Tummala as the Executive Producer. With a star-studded cast and a talented crew, Robinhood is set to be an exciting watch for fans of action and drama.
