Davis Cup 2025 is the 113th edition of the tournament which is held between national teams in men’s tennis. It is part of the 2025 ATP Tour calendar.
The tournament is entering its initial stages with the draw for the World Group I confirmed. The draw comprised the nations that won the World Group I Play-offs earlier this year or lost in the 2025 Qualifiers first Round.
The ties will take place on either 12-13 or 13-14 September 2025. A total of 13 ties for the second tier of the Davis Cup 2025 will be held.
Under the new format, the September stage (Qualifiers second round) will feature seven home-or-away ties staged over two days. The seven winning teams will be joined by the host nation in the Final 8 knock-out stage in November.
The qualification is as follows:
- The runners-up of the 2024 Davis Cup (Netherlands; promoted since 2024 champions Italy will host the Final 8)
- 13 winners of the Qualifiers first round, held in January–February 2025
The 7 winning teams will play in the Final 8 alongside the host nation.
The World Group I ties and the Qualifiers 2nd Round will take place on the same weekend which will shape the lineup for the 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna, Italy on 18-23 November 2025.
Ties will take place as best-of-five matches with two singles rubbers on the first day, followed by the doubles match and reverse singles rubbers on the second day.
Twenty-six teams will feature in the World Group I, in a series decided on a home and away basis.
These twenty-six teams are:
- 13 losing teams from the Qualifiers first round, held in January–February 2025
- 13 winning teams from the World Group I play-offs, held in January–February 2025:
The 13 winning teams from the World Group I will play in the Qualifiers first round and the 13 losing teams will play in the World Group I play-offs in 2026..
