Deep Dasgupta who is another former Indian wicket-keeper batsman the debate over captaincy change will come to an end and a solution to this will automatically come after the forthcoming  T20 World Cup. The debate is about Should Kohli remain Indian captain across all formats.

This debate seems to never get over. This debate is done over and over again due to results across the formats. Kohli’s captain has come under scrutiny .and every time this situation arises, the pundits and fans wonder felt captaincy change would do them better in T 20 format for India.

This came after India lost World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand by 8 wickets. So, the debate began to arise whether Kohli can captain the team in crucial situations. With the big event of the T20 world cup coming up, so suggest that India can change the captain across the shorter format. The key point that led to the debate is that the inability of not winning the ICC trophy after taking the role of captaincy.

This debate over captaincy change will come to an end and we may get a possible solution to this concern in the upcoming T20 world cup. Deep Dasgupta suggests that Rohit Sharma the opener can replace Kohli and be a frontrunner as a T 20 captain.

Deep Dasgupta ‘I won’t say high time’ but I would say Rohit Sharma is an option. Having just 3-4 months ahead of the T20 world cup changing captaincy is a hard thing. As the team should alter according to the new captain. Rohit Sharma did lead the team before but there is a big difference between a stand-in skipper and an actual skipper If you are a stand-in skipper you don’t want to make any changes. But if you are an actual skipper you do have to make changes. So, the team can be run in the manner you desired.

Suppose the change occurs or not remains to be seen. There are no infant changes as of now. But surely Rohit Sharma in contention to be given a chance. Rohit winning the IPL title five times to Virat Kohli who never won it even once.
