Dinesh Karthik congratulates Rajnikanth on receiving ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Award’, tweets about his achievement

Indian wicket keeper-batsman, Dinesh Karthik took to twitter to congratulate Rajnikanth on being honored with Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

Actor Rajnikanth, who has been active in cinema for nearly five decades, will be awarded the Dada Saheb Phalke Award. The Central Government has informed about this on Thursday morning, 1 April 2021. Rajinikanth has been ruling the cinema for the last five decades. This year the selection jury has done this. The jury has featured artists such as Asha Bhosle, Mohanlal, Vishwajit Chatterjee, Shankar Mahadevan and Subhash Ghai.

Dinesh Karthik tweeted from his account saying, “I think all the superlatives combined still won’t do justice to what he has achieved and contributed to Indian cinema. Many many congratulations to Thalaivar @rajinikanth for being conferred with #DadasahebPhalkeAward.”

Dinesh Karthik will be playing for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 that begins from April 9. The wicket keeper-batsman has kicked started his practice session after returning from the mandatory 7-days quarantine period. This season, Eon Morgan has been appointed as the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders.
