The World Aquatics Diving World Cup 2025 moves to its second leg in Windsor, Canada after a thrilling first round in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The events will take place from 10-13 April at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre. This is the second of the three stops in the series.
Some of the best divers in the world will battle out to earn qualification points to the Super Final in Beijing this May.
Canada will be front and centre — not only as hosts, but as strong contenders in multiple events. With packed crowds expected and national pride on the line, the stage is set for a high-energy, high-stakes meet on Canadian soil.
Diving World Cup 2025 Windsor: Chinese Divers Look To Dominate
In the women’s 10m platform, a close contest is expected between Chinese teammates Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan. The pair won gold together in the synchronised version of this discipline at Paris 2024.
Chen has taken an early lead in the rankings after a stellar performance in Guadalajara, where she produced three of the top dives from the competition to secure the win and all 50 points.
Quan would enter the competition with more confidence as she defeated Chen to win gold at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. She is in the second position with 414.40 points (4.95 behind Chen).
Chinese divers look to dominate the women’s 3m springboard as well. Chen Jia and double Olympic champion Chen Yiwen occupy the top two spots after round 1.
On the men’s front, four-time Chinese Olympic medallist Wang Zongyuan tops the 3m springboard rankings with 100 points following his victory in Guadalajara.
In the men’s 10m platform, the Chinese pair of Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Likong will be a formidable force.
