It shouldn’t reach a stage where you are dropped from the team. Instead, retirement should be announced when you are at your peak. It seldom happens, though. After a brief break from cricket, VK shined with the bat in the recently concluded Asia Cup. He smashed 276 runs from five matches at an astounding average of 92. In the meantime, the batting sensation also hit his first hundred in a Twenty20 international. As a result, the Asia Cup was a delightful campaign for the batting great as he got back his mojo.

As the attention now heads to T20 World Cup, the million-dollar question is, can Virat lead team India to the title? Fans can keep their hopes high, because the king is back, that too in grand style.
