The Eisenhower Cup 2025: Top Tennis Stars To Feature Under The Lights

The 2025 Eisenhower Cup, a one-night Tie Break Tens event at the BNP Paribas Open, will bring together top-ranked men’s and women’s athletes for the third year in a row on Tuesday, March 4 at Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Since its inception in 2018, the Eisenhower Cup has progressed to become an iconic Indian Wells custom. In front of a loud Stadium 2 audience, the up-and-coming American team of Shelton and Navarro defeated Badosa and Tsitsipas to win the 2024 title.

First-to-ten-point tie break matches make up the event’s fast-paced, action-packed Tie Break Tens format. Seven matches will be played throughout the evening in the 2025 tournament, which will be an eight-team single elimination draw.

With a huge prize pool of $200,000, high-octane action and drama is anticipated.

2024 Eisenhower Cup Champions Emma Navarro & Ben Shelton 

On the eve of the BNP Paribas Open main draw play, eight top pairs will compete in a fast-paced mixed doubles event at the 2025 Eisenhower Cup.

The following pairs are confirmed to play in the event:

  • 2023 BNP Paribas Open Champion Elena Rybakina+ 2022 BNP Paribas Open Champion Taylor Fritz
  • 2025 Australian Open Champion Madison Keys & World No 9 Tommy Paul
  • World No. 5 Casper Ruud + Two-Time BNP Paribas Open Finalist Maria Sakkari
  • 2024 Eisenhower Cup Champions Emma Navarro & Ben Shelton
  • 2021 BNP Paribas Open Champion Paula Badosa + World No. 13 Stefanos Tsitsipas
  • World No 4 Jasmine Paolini & World No 17 Lorenzo Musetti
  • 5-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek, who will play with her Polish compatriot and United Cup teammate Hubert Hurkacz
  • World No. 25 Katie Boulter & World No 8 Alex de Minaur

Although a number of well-known teams are still competing, the event took a hit on Sunday when World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka withdrew without providing an explanation.

Sabalenka was supposed to be paired with Taylor Fritz when the Eisenhower Cup’s original participants were revealed, but Elena Rybakina has subsequently taken her place.
