The 2025 Eisenhower Cup, a one-night Tie Break Tens event at the BNP Paribas Open, will bring together top-ranked men’s and women’s athletes for the third year in a row on Tuesday, March 4 at Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
Since its inception in 2018, the Eisenhower Cup has progressed to become an iconic Indian Wells custom. In front of a loud Stadium 2 audience, the up-and-coming American team of Shelton and Navarro defeated Badosa and Tsitsipas to win the 2024 title.
First-to-ten-point tie break matches make up the event’s fast-paced, action-packed Tie Break Tens format. Seven matches will be played throughout the evening in the 2025 tournament, which will be an eight-team single elimination draw.
With a huge prize pool of $200,000, high-octane action and drama is anticipated.
On the eve of the BNP Paribas Open main draw play, eight top pairs will compete in a fast-paced mixed doubles event at the 2025 Eisenhower Cup.
Although a number of well-known teams are still competing, the event took a hit on Sunday when World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka withdrew without providing an explanation.
Sabalenka was supposed to be paired with Taylor Fritz when the Eisenhower Cup’s original participants were revealed, but Elena Rybakina has subsequently taken her place.
