Indian cricket team won the 3-match T20I series against England by 2-1. England beat India in the last match at Trent Bridge on Sunday, 10th July to avoid the clean sweep from India. This loss was Rohit Sharma’s first after becoming team India’s full-time captain. This was an amazing run by the Indian captain before this third T20I game against England.

Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was named ‘player of the series’ for his wonderful performance with ball in first and second T20I. The pacer was given rest for the third game to give chances to some young ones. This was the second ‘player of the series’ award for Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the second consecutive T20I series. The first one he got when India beat Ireland in their home by 2-0. Bhuvi took 6 wickets in those two matches and deservingly awarded with the trophy (Player of the series).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed England skipper Jos Buttler in both first and second T20I and also took some more important wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a total of 4 wickets and that also with the best economy as compared to any other pacer in the whole series.
