Manchester United won their first Premier League game of the season against Liverpool FC which was played on Monday night, 22nd August. This was Erik ten Hag’s first league win as manager of Man United. Both the forwards Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho scored a goal in the game against Liverpool FC.
English forwards Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford has pace and very quick on ball. The first goal was scored by Jadon Sancho and the second one was scored by his club and country teammate Marcus Rashford. Erik ten Hag feels it is very difficult to stop Rashford and Jadon Sancho. Erik in the lastest interview has praised both the English forwards.
“I’m convinced they can be really a threat, really a weapon against every opponent. As long as their focus and energy is there with them, it is very difficult to stop them. So it’s about the team getting them in the right situation and also about themselves,” said Erik ten Hag via MUTV.
Despite Erik ten Hag feels they (Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho) can be a weapon, but still wants the club to sign Antony from Ajax to bolster their attack and to give him more options in forward.
