Manchester City has beaten Bayern Munich by 1-0 in the club friendlies match which happened on Sunday, 24th July. All the clubs are playing their pre-season game before the league starts. Premier League champions Manchester City was up against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich on Sunday and it was an exciting game.

The game ended with a scoreline of 1-0 and Bayern couldn’t find the net in the entire 90 minutes. Though Bayern created some good chances but couldn’t find the breakthrough. In this game, Manchester City’s new striker named Erling Haaland who they bought from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund this summer for €75 million made his debut.

This game was Haaland’s first of many for Manchester City. The striker scored a goal on his debut. Norwegian striker Haaland only needed 12 minutes to score his first goal for Manchester City. In the 12th minute when star Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne passed the ball to English footballer Jack Grealish, he crossed the ball through and Haaland was there to make that 1-0 for City.

This was the only goal scored in this game and Haaland’s first goal became the match winner against Bayern Munich.
