Jessica “Jess” Bolden, an Australian coach, analyst, and commentator for Rainbow Six Siege was born on November 15, 1995. She most recently worked for Samsung Morning Stars but was forced to leave due to visa complications. She was also the driving force for the formation of the CCS Women’s League.

Formerly a criminologist in Australia, Jess is now a well-known authority in the Rainbow Six Siege community. Even though she dabbles in most FPS games, she fell in love with them over five years ago while competitively playing Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege. Jess moved to Europe to work as a professional coach and analyst for a Tier 1 team in Germany after being one of the first women to qualify for the semi-professional league in Australia.

It is not surprising that Jess dabbled in commentary and the analyst desk during her playing and coaching careers, making her the go-to person for the Rainbow Six European League, Asia Pacific League, and Six Invitational. Jess has played various roles in the esports business, including player, analyst, head coach, desk analyst, and commentator. Jessica “Jess” Bolden, a Rainbow Six Siege caster, outlined her motivations in an exclusive interview with Dexerto. She pushed limits in esports and continues to do so.

JessGOAT isn’t afraid to forge ahead and quit her job as a university instructor to enter the undiscovered world of esports. In Rainbow Six Siege, she was the sole female analyst, coach, and player. She determined that “it wasn’t good enough, and I will always think it is not good enough.” Working as an esports commentator, Bolden brings the same enthusiasm and insatiable thirst for knowledge. She says she has high expectations for herself and “always looks forward rather than savouring the moment.”
