James ‘Dash’ Patterson
James “Dash” Patterson is a broadcast and analysis desk host for Riot Games. He studied acting in New York before working as an e-sports coordinator for Riot in January 2014. He has also appeared in off-Broadway plays and films. After six months of training, he joined the live broadcast crew as the desk host for the North American LCS. He also had a role in the Riot YouTube programme /All Chat, which focused on initiatives and inventions from the local community.
James “Dash” Patterson, an esports host, has joined CAA, which is growing its gaming clientele for representation across all platforms. Patterson is well-known for hosting the annual World Championship event and Riot Games’ League Championship Series in North America. He recently became the host of the daily variety show VENN Arcade Live for the freshly established video game entertainment and news network VENN, which debuts in beta on August 5. The programme includes interactive gaming.
Patterson is also active on Twitch, where he broadcasts the shared-world online battle arena games Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends. In addition, Patterson runs the LoL esports YouTube channel and the Spotify podcast The Queue, where he conducts interviews with essential players in the esports sector. The trend of gaming personalities and streamers being signed to large agencies continues with this deal. Jesse Cox and Bruce Greene, two YouTube and Twitch stars were signed to CAA earlier this year together with the family-friendly gaming ensemble The Krew.
