  • Jaime ‘Cyber’ Ramos
  • Cho ‘Maru’ Seong-Ju

Winner: Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev

S1mple was voted best PC player at this year’s Esports Awards. It was an excellent year for the 25-year-old Ukrainian player, but it couldn’t hold a candle to his incredible out-of-this-world campaign in 2021.

S1mple was a rising star in CIS teams before moving to Team Liquid and the North American scene. His skill on the field was never questioned, but since he’s played for NAVI, his mentality has changed for the better. He’s still doing an outstanding job as president and is not afraid to bring up the conflict between Russia and Ukraine whenever he gets the chance. S1mple has an ADR of 83.6 and a rating of 1.27 in 2022. His ability to flip rounds single-handedly makes the impact of his frags far more significant than the raw numbers suggest.
